Yanli Zhang (b. 1977, Zhengzhou, China) specializes in contemporary art as an artist and art curator with background studies majoring in Literature at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Art History at City College of New York. Zhang`s work depicts her expression of music with subconscious inspiration from the abstract expressionist masters. Her Chinese calligraphy practice provides her a foundation that allows a unique perspective on how to express and engage the art.
