Bridgette Duran is an emerging artist based in Beverly Hills, who uses painting as a foundation to bridge between spirituality and the acquisition of inner knowledge. Suffering from sleep paralysis for many years, she eventually learned to utilize the ability to switch between her conscious and subconscious minds to access the higher creative force. The process is very automatic, based on instinct rather than anything mapped out. She uses meditation as a tool to allow her subconscious to translate unseen energy onto canvas using color and form.
Duran is a self taught painter who studied Film, attended FIDM in Los Angeles, worked as a fashion stylist and in Interior Design before moving to Paris to take painting courses at Port Royale Academie.
