Born in Montreal, raised in New York and currently based in Austin, Texas, Aram has had a passion for art as far back as she can remember. Her father, a jewelry designer, noticed her talent when she was eight years old and from then encouraged her to delve into her artistic side. She carried her passion for creating throughout the years by painting, taking on commissions, doing murals, and even making costumes from scratch. Once she moved to Austin, she decided she was ready to chase her dream of being a full-time artist.

Aram's style of work is mainly influenced by modern abstraction and pop art. Her largest form of inspiration comes from design and fashion, including anything from fabrics and textiles to runway shows and magazines. She's constantly exploring new styles and mediums, including metallic & acrylic paints, high flow acrylics, as well as resin on canvas. Her newest collection is inspired by the Vogue campaign called "Cocktail D'été" (French for "Cocktail of Summer"), where each piece is made with various gemstones, Swarovski crystals, and even one to two pieces of her father's fashion jewelry. The original campaign is both bold in color and glamorous, which is exactly what Aram was trying to portray when she made each piece come to life on canvas. "I love trying out new techniques and starting a different look with each collection. This continuous change makes it incredibly enjoyable for me to look back at my pieces and see how my work has evolved over the years. I also tend to get lost exploring other peoples works, both established and emerging, reading about their stories, looking at their studios and picturing how they work in that space. I take a little piece of every artist I study with me, and try to bring it into my own work, in my own way."
